Expands the affirmative defense for human trafficking victims from three specific offenses (human trafficking, trafficking-related assistance, and prostitution) to any crime under New Jersey's Title 2C criminal code

Requires defendants to prove two elements: they were victims of human trafficking during the alleged offense, and the crime was committed as a direct result of being trafficked

Allows the affirmative defense to be raised even if no conviction was obtained for the underlying human trafficking offense committed against the defendant

Amends three New Jersey statutes: the human trafficking law (C.2C:13-8), the trafficking assistance law (C.2C:13-9), and the prostitution law (N.J.S.2C:34-1)

Takes effect 30 days following enactment and is pre-filed for introduction in the 2026 legislative session
