Requires merchant acquirers to assign the International Organization for Standardization's merchant category code for firearms and ammunition businesses to firearms merchants physically located in New Jersey, effective May 1, 2027

Defines "firearms merchant" as a New Jersey business whose highest sales value comes from the combined sale of firearms, firearm accessories, or ammunition

Grants the Office of the Attorney General sole enforcement authority, with no private right of action permitted

Imposes a $10,000 civil penalty per violation, plus injunctive relief and attorney's fees, for non-compliance after a 30-day notice and cure period

Allows violators to avoid penalties by curing the violation within 30 days of receiving written notice and providing documentation of corrective measures and policy changes
