Electric public utilities must provide emergency services to age-restricted communities (developments for residents 55 years or older) during extended power outages lasting more than 24 consecutive hours

Required services include temporary water distribution stations providing access to potable water until power is restored

Utilities must set up cooling stations with air conditioning or heating stations with adequate seating capacity for residents, depending on weather conditions

Charging stations for electronic devices must be made available to affected residents throughout the duration of the outage
