Raises the daily traffic threshold from 3,000 to 4,000 vehicles per day for counties and municipalities to install speed tables (speed humps with flat tops of at least 10 feet) without state Department of Transportation approval

Applies to one-lane and two-lane residential streets with posted speed limits of 30 mph or less under municipal or county jurisdiction

Extends the same 4,000 vehicle threshold for speed table installation on streets within 500 feet of schools or school property during road construction or repair projects

Maintains the existing 3,000 vehicle per day threshold for traditional speed humps without flat tops
