Expands existing protections for pregnant college students to include "parenting students," defined as students who are parents or legal guardians of children under 18 years old

Prohibits New Jersey colleges and universities from requiring parenting students to take leave, withdraw, or limit their studies solely due to their parenting status

Requires institutions to provide reasonable accommodations including excused absences for medical necessities and urgent caregiving obligations, makeup tests/assignments, and leaves of absence

Allows parenting students in good academic standing to take up to one academic year of leave and return without reapplying for admission

Mandates that institutions post their parenting and pregnancy discrimination policies on their websites and distribute them to students at orientation
