Requires annual distribution of fellowship funding to cover living expenses for individuals participating in the Direct Support Professional Career Development Program

Provides ongoing financial support for existing direct support professionals to cover costs associated with furthering their education

Limits administrative expenses to no more than 10 percent of appropriated funds

Direct support professionals serve persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and the program operates through the New Jersey Community College Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development
