Permits providers to use alternative billing codes, including Social Determinants of Health Z-codes, instead of standard DSM or DC:0-5 diagnostic codes

Covered services include screenings and individual, group, and family psychotherapy for children with potential but undiagnosed mental health disorders

Applies to commercial insurers, HMOs, State Health Benefits Program, School Employees' Health Benefits Program, and NJ FamilyCare, taking effect 90 days after enactment
