Expands eligibility for soil and water conservation grants from the State Agriculture Development Committee (SADC) to include potable water well construction projects on preserved farmland

Currently eligible projects include terrace systems, diversions, water impoundment reservoirs, irrigation systems, erosion control systems, drainage systems, animal waste control facilities, and land shaping/grading

Landowners on preserved farmland or in farmland preservation programs can apply through local Soil Conservation Districts for these grants

Grant recipients must agree to maintain funded projects for a minimum of three years as part of an approved farmland conservation plan

Landowners who provide 50% of project funds without county assistance can have applications reviewed directly by the local soil conservation district
