Exempts nonprofit ski area operators from requirements to post slope/trail difficulty systems, provide trail maps and reports, share daily condition information, and remove obvious man-made hazards

Defines "nonprofit organization" as entities granted tax-exempt status under IRS 501(c)(3)

Maintains existing liability protections for all ski operators when failures result from sudden weather changes, natural snow/terrain conditions, or marked equipment necessary for operations

Preserves all operator responsibilities under the separate "Ski Lift Safety Act" (P.L.1975, c.226) regarding passenger tramway construction, maintenance, and operation

Amends P.L.1979, c.29 (C.5:13-2 and C.5:13-3) and takes effect immediately upon enactment
