Establishes the Nursing School Expansion Grant Program administered by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority to provide grants to accredited nursing education programs at public colleges, independent institutions, and hospital-based nursing schools to increase capacity and improve nursing workforce supply

Appropriates $25 million from the General Fund, with $24.5 million designated for grants and $500,000 capped for administrative costs

Requires grant applicants to submit enrollment and graduation data for the preceding three academic years, plans to increase enrollment targets, and student pass rates on National Council of State Boards of Nursing examinations

Applications must include demographic profiles of students, faculty, and staff along with specific plans to increase nursing workforce diversity

Grant evaluation criteria will be developed by the Chief Executive Officer in consultation with the New Jersey Collaborating Center for Nursing
