Creates a voluntary opt-in system for businesses registered with the Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services to receive official government notifications electronically instead of by paper mail

Electronic notifications will include information about new statutory and regulatory requirements (such as tax and employer obligations) and economic incentives relevant to businesses

Participating agencies include the Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services, Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Division of Taxation, and New Jersey Economic Development Authority

Businesses that opt into electronic notifications will no longer receive paper versions of official and authoritative notifications from participating agencies

Businesses may request to stop electronic notifications at any time and resume receiving paper communications; the law does not override existing statutory requirements for postal or certified mail delivery
