Mandates all health insurance carriers in New Jersey to cover screening for Alzheimer's disease and related disorders for covered persons aged 65 and older

Applies to hospital service corporations, medical service corporations, health service corporations, individual and group health insurance policies, small employer health benefits plans, and health maintenance organizations

Requires the State Health Benefits Commission and School Employees' Health Benefits Commission to include this coverage in all contracts they purchase

Defines "Alzheimer's disease and related disorders" as forms of dementia characterized by general loss of intellectual abilities severe enough to interfere with social or occupational functioning

Takes effect 180 days following enactment and applies to contracts delivered, issued, executed, or renewed on or after that date
