Division of Consumer Affairs must develop, obtain, or contract with a vendor to provide an automated system for tracking continuing education credits completed by licensed professionals

System will be used by boards, committees, and regulatory entities within the division that oversee professions requiring continuing education for license renewal

Automated tracking will assist in determining whether licensees are in compliance with continuing education requirements for their specific profession or occupation

Takes effect on the first day of the 19th month following enactment and applies to license renewal applications received on or after that date

Director of Division of Consumer Affairs may take anticipatory administrative action before the effective date to implement the system
