Increases the accidental disability pension for Police and Firemen's Retirement System (PFRS) members from 66% to 100% of final compensation when the disability is caused by a weapon as defined in N.J.S. 2C:39-1

Reduces the pension to 80% of adjusted final compensation once the retired member reaches mandatory retirement age (65 years)

Creates an "adjusted final compensation" calculation that increases the pension base by the same percentage increases applied to active members' compensation schedules until the retiree would have turned 65

Applies retroactively to members who have already retired with accidental disability benefits as well as those who will retire after the bill's effective date

Requires applications for enhanced benefits to be submitted to the PFRS board of trustees following standard application and appeals procedures
