Requires the Department of Education, in consultation with the Commissioner of Health, to establish a public awareness campaign about the dangers of social media use to minors within 180 days of enactment

Campaign will be disseminated through statewide newspapers, radio, public service announcements, social media, television ads, and other media outlets to inform parents and guardians about social media risks

Appropriates $500,000 from the General Fund to the Department of Education to develop and implement the campaign

Commissioner of Education must report to the Governor and Legislature within 24 months on the campaign's activities and accomplishments

Campaign content will incorporate findings from the U.S. Surgeon General's May 2023 advisory and the New Jersey Commission on the Effects of Social Media Usage on Adolescents
