Mandates health insurance coverage for diagnosis and treatment of Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS) and Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS) when prescribed by a treating physician

Requires coverage to include antibiotics, medication and behavioral therapies for neuropsychiatric symptoms, immunomodulating medicines, plasma exchange, and intravenous immunoglobulin therapy

Applies to all major types of health insurance in New Jersey, including insurance companies, hospital service corporations, medical service corporations, health maintenance organizations, and individual and group health plans

Extends coverage requirements to State Health Benefits Commission and School Employees' Health Benefits Commission contracts

Takes effect on the first day of the sixth month following enactment and applies to contracts delivered, issued, executed, or renewed on or after that date
