Expands New Jersey's fourth-degree crime statutes to criminalize interfering with any radio communications from federally licensed or authorized stations, including those operated by the U.S. government

Prohibits the use of scanning receivers capable of intercepting domestic cellular radio telecommunications frequencies, being altered to receive such frequencies, or equipped with decoders converting digital cellular transmissions to analog voice audio

Signal jammers (also called GPS jammers, cell phone jammers, or text blockers) can block calls, texts, emails, Wi-Fi connections, GPS signals, and prevent first responders from locating people in emergencies

Amends P.L.2005, c.293 to align state law with existing federal prohibitions under 47 U.S.C. s.301 and 47 U.S.C. s.333

Violations constitute a fourth-degree crime under New Jersey law, with the bill taking effect immediately upon passage
