Prohibits the State Board of Education from requiring career and technical education (CTE) teacher candidates to complete the Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators test if they can demonstrate English and math proficiency through alternate measures

Alternate measures for demonstrating basic skills proficiency include work portfolios approved by a superintendent, occupational licenses or certifications, or industry certificates or registrations

Limits educator preparation programs for CTE certificate of eligibility candidates to a maximum of 200 hours of instruction or one academic year

Amends P.L.2021, c.420 to expand flexibility in CTE teacher certification requirements

Takes effect on the first day of the seventh month following enactment
