Appropriates $34 million from constitutionally dedicated corporation business tax (CBT) revenues to the State Agriculture Development Committee for county planning incentive grants to acquire development easements on farmland.

Grants cover up to 80% of farmland preservation acquisition costs for projects in approved agricultural development areas across 15 New Jersey counties.

Five counties (Burlington, Cumberland, Gloucester, Monmouth, and Somerset) receive base grants ranging from $500,000 to $1 million, totaling $4 million combined.

All 15 eligible counties may compete for additional grants up to $7.5 million each through a competitive grant fund, with maximum total awards capped at $8.5 million per county.

Approved December 19, 2025 as P.L. 2025, Chapter 165, with expenditures subject to the Preserve New Jersey Act and related farmland preservation statutes.
