County fire coordinators and deputy county fire coordinators would be authorized to mount and operate blue emergency warning lights and red emergency warning lights with sirens on their personal vehicles when responding to fire or emergency calls

The Chief Administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission must prepare identification cards upon request from a county executive or director of the board of county commissioners

County fire coordinators must obtain identification cards countersigned by the county executive or board director before mounting any emergency warning lights, and must carry the card while operating the lights

Drivers of non-emergency vehicles must yield the right of way to county fire coordinators operating emergency warning lights, the same as for other authorized emergency vehicles under R.S.39:4-92

County fire coordinators receive no special traffic privileges or exemptions and must obey all State traffic laws while operating emergency warning lights
