Exempts certain Class C alcoholic beverage licenses from the two consecutive term inactivity expiration rule when held by developers, redevelopers, their affiliates, or tenants

Qualifying licenses must be intended for use at premises located in or to be constructed in a redevelopment, improvement, or revitalization area of at least 250,000 square feet

The redevelopment project must have secured site plan approvals from the municipality to qualify for the exemption

Current law requires inactive Class C licenses to expire after two consecutive two-year license terms (four years total), with municipalities able to grant a one-year extension

Licenses exempted under this provision are excluded from the phased quartile transfer schedule that applies to other inactive licenses
