Mandates New Jersey Medicaid coverage for continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and related repair costs for recipients diagnosed with diabetes who are insulin-treated or have documented problematic hypoglycemia (two or more level 2 events or one level 3 event)

Requires CGMs to be FDA-approved, prescribed according to federal indications, and recipients must demonstrate sufficient training in device use as determined by their treating physician

Establishes ongoing eligibility requirements including follow-up care visits with a health care practitioner every 6 months for the first 18 months, then annually thereafter

Directs the Commissioner of Human Services to apply for federal Medicaid waivers or state plan amendments necessary to implement the program and secure federal financial participation

Authorizes immediate adoption of emergency regulations for up to six months to implement the act, with permanent rules to follow standard administrative procedures
