Transfers authority for immunization coverage recommendations from the federal CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices to the New Jersey Department of Health

Requires the NJ Department of Health to make immunization recommendations consistent with guidelines from major medical organizations including the American Medical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and American College of Physicians

Mandates all health insurers in New Jersey (hospital service corporations, medical service corporations, health service corporations, HMOs, individual and group health plans, State Health Benefits Program, and School Employees' Health Benefits Program) to cover recommended immunizations without any cost-sharing

Requires the State Medicaid Program to cover immunizations recommended by the Department of Health as part of preventive care services

Applies to childhood immunizations and takes effect immediately for policies issued or renewed after the effective date
