Creates a new form of child endangerment for knowingly acting via electronic communication (including social media) in a manner likely to injure the physical, mental, or moral welfare of a child under 18, or directing a child to engage in dangerous occupations

Classifies the offense as a second degree crime (5-10 years imprisonment, up to $150,000 fine) for persons with legal duty or assumed responsibility for the child's care

Classifies the offense as a third degree crime (3-5 years imprisonment, up to $15,000 fine) for all other persons who endanger a child through electronic communication

Explicitly excludes interactive computer services, telecommunications providers, and information service providers from liability under the new provision

Targets parents and others who post content of children on social media for monetary gain (cash, products, endorsements) that may be consumed by sex offenders or predators
