Appropriates $1.2 million in supplemental funding from the General Fund to the Community College Opportunity Grant program for fiscal year ending June 30, 2026

The Community College Opportunity Grant covers remaining tuition and approved fees not covered by other aid for eligible students taking up to 18 credits per semester

Eligible students must be enrolled in at least six credits, have no prior college degree, complete FAFSA or NJ Alternative Financial Aid Application, meet academic progress standards, and have household income between $0 and $65,000

Prior grant recipients with household income between $65,001 and $80,000 may receive up to half the maximum award in fiscal year 2026

Previous recipients with household income between $80,001 and $100,000 may receive up to one-third of the maximum award
