Requires law enforcement officers to display their agency name (or known initials) and their name or unique badge/identification number on their uniform while on duty

Prohibits officers from wearing masks or disguises while interacting with the public during official duties

Exemptions from the mask prohibition include undercover assignments, SWAT operations, water rescues, extreme weather emergencies, fire incidents, biological/chemical agent exposure, and physician-approved medical masks

Applies to federal, state, county, and municipal law enforcement officers, including anyone authorized, deputized, or designated to perform law enforcement functions

Violations constitute a disorderly persons offense, punishable by a $500-$1,000 fine, up to six months imprisonment, or both
