Establishes the "STEM Curriculum Grant Program" in the Department of Education to promote project-based learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for at-risk students in grades six through eight

Requires the Commissioner of Education to select at least two school districts with existing STEM programs, with each district supporting a minimum of 60 at-risk students (defined as households at or below 185% of federal poverty guidelines)

Participating programs must provide hands-on courses with real-world learning experiences, an accelerated option allowing students who are behind grade level to complete two grades in one year, and professional development for staff

Appropriates $2,250,000 from the General Fund to the Department of Education for distribution to the nonprofit Engaged Learning Strategies to administer the program

Grant funds may be used to continue or expand existing STEM programs, including curriculum development, professional development, and purchasing furniture and supplies
