Removes requirements that electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) and Make-Ready parking space installations comply with bulk requirements or prior site plan approval conditions at existing gas stations, retail establishments, and other buildings

Adds a new requirement that applicants must demonstrate the proposed EVSE installation will not pose a specific, adverse impact on public health or safety that cannot be feasibly mitigated or avoided

Maintains existing requirements that installations must comply with State Uniform Construction Code, safety standards, and State regulations concerning EV charging stations

Applications for EVSE installation continue to be exempt from site plan review, land use board review, and variance relief requirements when meeting specified conditions

Takes effect immediately and applies to both pending applications and those submitted after enactment
