Mandates all health insurers in New Jersey, including hospital service corporations, medical service corporations, health maintenance organizations, and individual/small employer health plans, to cover medically necessary hearing aids

Requires coverage for one analog or digital hearing aid per ear at least every 48 months when prescribed by a state-licensed audiologist or hearing aid dispenser

Limits the patient's total cost-sharing responsibility (copayments and deductibles combined) to no more than 15% of the hearing aid cost

Extends coverage requirements to the State Health Benefits Commission and School Employees' Health Benefits Commission plans covering public employees and educators

Takes effect 30 days after enactment and applies to all policies delivered, issued, executed, or renewed after that date
