Excludes full-time students in primary school, secondary school, high school, vocational school, college, or other post-secondary institutions from the definition of "domestic worker" under New Jersey's Domestic Workers' Bill of Rights Act

Excludes au pairs from the definition of "domestic worker," defining au pairs as young adults from overseas who live with families on legal visas through federally regulated programs for up to two years, providing childcare in exchange for a weekly stipend, room, and board

Removes the joint and several liability provision that currently holds individuals and employers with overlapping employment relationships with domestic workers liable for concurrent fines and penalties

Takes effect July 1, 2024 and amends P.L.2023, c.262 (the Domestic Workers' Bill of Rights Act enacted in 2023)
