Designates July as "Diverse Business Month" in New Jersey to promote the success of businesses owned by persons of color, women, veterans, and LGBTQ+ individuals

Requests the Governor to annually issue a proclamation recognizing the month and calls upon public officials, community leaders, and business leaders to observe it with appropriate activities and programs

Notes that persons of color own 21.7% of New Jersey businesses, women own 39.6%, and veterans own 4.2%

Acknowledges that more than 150 businesses have become LGBTQ+ certified since Governor Murphy signed Executive Order 295 and the passage of P.L.2024, c.10

Cites a statewide study finding significant disparities for diverse-owned businesses in prime contracts for construction, professional services, and general goods and services
