Designates June 1 of each year as "Tae Kwon Do Day" in New Jersey to recognize the martial art's positive impact on participants and encourage increased participation statewide

Requests the Governor to issue an annual proclamation recognizing the day and calls upon State agencies, organizations, and citizens to observe it with appropriate activities and programs

Recognizes Tae Kwon Do as a traditional Korean martial art formally established in 1955 that became an official Olympic sport in 2000 and is now practiced in over 200 countries

Highlights the physical, mental, and social benefits of Tae Kwon Do, including improved flexibility, self-discipline, mental health, situational awareness for personal safety, and community building through group training

Notes the growing popularity of Tae Kwon Do in New Jersey through training centers across the State and the New Jersey State Taekwondo Association
