Establishes a seven-member New Jersey Government Efficiency Commission within the Department of the Treasury to streamline government bureaucracy, eliminate redundancies and overlapping functions, and identify cost reductions

Commission membership includes the State Treasurer (as chair), one NJ State Chamber of Commerce member, and five public members appointed by the Governor, Senate President, Assembly Speaker, and both legislative minority leaders

Public members serve three-year terms and may be removed for cause; initial members must be appointed within 30 days of the act's effective date

Commission must issue an initial report to the Governor and Legislature within one year of formation, followed by annual reports thereafter

Department of the Treasury provides staff support, and the commission may utilize employees from any state, county, or municipal agency as needed
