Designates March 20th of each year as "New Jersey Agriculture Day" to increase public awareness of agriculture's role in the state's life, health, and prosperity

Requests the Governor to annually issue a proclamation calling upon public officials and citizens to observe the day with appropriate activities and programs

Recognizes New Jersey's agricultural achievements, including ranking among the top 10 states nationally for production of cranberries, bell peppers, spinach, peaches, blueberries, cucumbers, sweet corn, squash, tomatoes, snap beans, and cabbage

Acknowledges the state's diverse agricultural industries including nursery stock, greenhouse plants, equine, seafood, dairy, wineries, breweries, distilleries, and beekeeping

Notes the New Jersey Department of Agriculture's creation of the first state-sponsored agricultural branding program, Jersey Fresh, in 1984, which expanded to include Jersey Grown, Jersey Seafood, Jersey Equine, and Made with Jersey Fresh
