Condemns Turkey's 1974 invasion and continued 51-year occupation of Cyprus as illegal under the United Nations Charter and international law, calling for immediate withdrawal of all Turkish occupying forces

Notes that more than 160,000 Cypriots (nearly one-third of the population) were forcibly displaced from their homeland as a result of the invasion

Urges Turkey to cooperate in determining the fate of over 900 missing persons, including four United States citizens, and to respect international human rights agreements including the European Convention on Human Rights and Geneva Conventions

Supports a comprehensive solution based on UN Security Council resolutions establishing a bizonal, bicommunal federation with single sovereignty, citizenship, and international personality

Directs copies of the resolution to be sent to the President, Secretary of State, congressional leadership, and New Jersey's federal delegation
