Urges the U.S. Congress to renew funding for the Federal Communications Commission's Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which provides up to $30/month discount on internet service for eligible households and up to $75/month for households on qualifying Tribal lands

The ACP also offers a one-time discount of up to $100 for purchasing a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers

Since its 2021 launch, the ACP has provided broadband access to over 20 million households nationally; in New Jersey, 335,079 households (approximately 1 in 10) are enrolled as of January 2024

New Jersey has received nearly $152 million in ACP funding, saving enrolled households collectively $8.3 million per month on internet services

The program's $14.2 billion budget was set to be exhausted in April 2024 without congressional action to renew funding
