Amends R.S.9:2-4 to add two new factors courts must consider when awarding child custody in New Jersey

Requires courts to evaluate any history of abuse, abandonment, or neglect as defined in R.S.9:6-1

Requires courts to consider evidence that either parent has engaged in a pattern of abusive, threatening, intimidating, or controlling behavior composed of a series of acts over any period of time

Supplements existing custody factors which include domestic violence history, parental fitness, child safety, and parents' ability to cooperate
