Increases juror daily pay from $5 to $40 beginning on the first day of service, eliminating the current system where jurors receive only $5 for the first three days and $35 additional thereafter.

Requires the Administrative Office of the Courts to reimburse jurors for travel expenses including mileage at the standard state rate for personal vehicles, actual fares for public transportation, and road tolls incurred traveling to and from the courthouse.

Mandates private employers with 10 or more employees to provide up to five days of paid compensation for employees serving on jury duty, without deducting from paid-time-off benefits.

Appropriates $20 million from the General Fund to the Administrative Office of the Courts to fund the increased juror pay and new benefits.

Takes effect on the first day of the seventh month following enactment.
