Requires the Board of Public Utilities (BPU), in consultation with the Department of Environmental Protection and NJ Economic Development Authority, to submit a feasibility report on developing advanced nuclear reactors statewide within 18 months.

Directs the study to identify suitable deployment locations, including former industrial sites and retired fossil fuel power plants, and to examine regulatory requirements with the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Mandates evaluation of economic viability, cost-saving mechanisms, federal programs, private investments, and state funding opportunities for advanced reactors.

Requires a minimum of three public stakeholder sessions to assess public perception, environmental impacts, and stakeholder input on advanced reactor development.

Defines small modular reactors (SMRs) as advanced reactors with capacity up to 1,000 megawatts thermal that can be deployed individually or in combination at a single site.
