Requires 85% of grant funds to pay student stipends for internship hours worked, with the remaining 15% covering administrative costs and career counselor positions.

Students completing internships earn academic credit toward an associate's degree and may receive employment offers from participating manufacturers.

County colleges must submit applications including memoranda of understanding with manufacturers, student selection criteria, and descriptions of how internships provide real workplace experience.

Priority given to colleges offering internships in designated labor demand occupations, with geographic distribution across northern, central, and southern regions and urban, suburban, and rural areas required.
