Plenary winery, farm winery, and out-of-State winery license holders producing not more than 250,000 gallons per year may sell wine by the glass for on-premises consumption in their licensed salesrooms, provided the salesroom is not located on restaurant premises.

"By the glass" is defined as selling an individual portion of wine, or wine mixed with nonalcoholic beverages, in an open container.

Licensed wineries may operate up to 15 salesrooms apart from the winery premises at a fee of $250 per salesroom, where they can sell wine in original packages, offer samples, and now sell by the glass.

The bill amends R.S.33:1-10 and takes effect immediately upon enactment.
