Mandates that Silver Alerts be broadcast as often as possible for the first three hours after issuance, following guidelines established by the New Jersey Broadcasters Association

Changes media participation from voluntary ("may voluntarily agree") to mandatory ("shall") for informing the public about missing persons believed to be suffering from dementia or cognitive impairment

Updates references to the State Police unit handling these alerts by removing "and Child Exploitation" from the unit name and updating contact procedures

Takes effect on the first day of the seventh month following enactment
