Expands the Behavioral Healthcare Provider Loan Redemption Program to include for-profit community providers of behavioral and mental health services as approved sites where participants can fulfill their service obligations

Current law limits approved sites to nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, school districts, counties, and state departments (Children and Families, Human Services, Health)

Program participants receive student loan redemption up to $150,000 (or federal maximum, whichever is greater) in exchange for working at approved behavioral healthcare sites

Eligible providers include psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, psychiatric nurse specialists, board certified behavior analysts, and licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselors

Takes effect immediately and applies to applications submitted on or after the enactment date
