Expands New Jersey's Family Leave Act to include bereavement leave for the death or stillbirth of a child, miscarriage (including chemical, ectopic, and molar pregnancies), failed fertility treatments, unsuccessful planned adoptions, and pregnancy terminations for medical reasons

Provides up to 21 days of bereavement leave immediately following qualifying events when the employee is not otherwise eligible for family leave or disability benefits under existing programs

Limits bereavement leave to 7 days when the employee would otherwise be eligible for other leave or benefits under the Family Leave Act or Temporary Disability Benefits Law

Bereavement benefits are paid as family temporary disability leave benefits, and the leave does not increase the maximum 12 weeks of family leave available in any 24-month period

Applies to employers with 30 or more employees and covers employees who have worked at least 1,000 hours in the preceding 12 months
