Assessments must determine if employment opportunities meet federal "competitive integrated employment" criteria under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)

Covers various employment types including work crews, call centers, Rehabilitation Facilities Set-Aside Act contracts, AbilityOne contracts, and other independent work assignments

Prohibits the agencies from automatically disqualifying work programs from "competitive integrated employment" status solely because they operate through AbilityOne or Set-Aside Act contracts

Affirms that individuals with disabilities should maintain freedom to choose employment options that best suit their needs without sacrificing current employment or limiting future choices
