Named the "Madison Holleran Proper Reporting Act" after a Northern Highlands Regional High School track star who died by suicide in January 2014 while enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania.

Requires New Jersey higher education institutions to publicly post on their websites the total number of enrolled students who died by suicide or attempted suicide in the prior academic year.

Mandates annual updates to the suicide and attempted suicide data on institutional websites.

Addresses youth suicide as the third-leading cause of death for New Jersey residents ages 10-24, with 70% of the 283 youth suicides (2013-2015) occurring among young adults ages 19-24.
