Amends N.J.S.2C:24-4 to create a new form of child endangerment for knowingly acting via electronic communication (including social media) in a manner likely to injure the physical, mental, or moral welfare of a child under 18 years old.

Parents or guardians who commit this offense face a second degree crime (5-10 years imprisonment, up to $150,000 fine); all other persons face a third degree crime (3-5 years imprisonment, up to $15,000 fine).

Electronic communication includes social media and internet websites but explicitly excludes interactive computer services and telecommunications providers as defined under federal law (47 U.S.C. s.230 and s.153).

Targets parents who post content of their children on social media for monetary gain (cash payments, products, endorsements) that may expose children to exploitation by predators.
