Amends New Jersey's child endangerment statute (N.J.S.2C:24-4) to create a fourth-degree crime for knowingly or recklessly causing a child to be subjected to sexual conduct through automated interactive computer technology, such as AI chatbots capable of simulating sexual conduct.

Fourth-degree crime carries penalties of up to 18 months imprisonment, a fine of up to $10,000, or both.

Applies to persons who create, control, possess, manipulate, use, disseminate, sell, or promote AI technology that performs or simulates sexual conduct with children.

Provides an exception for AI technology designed with safety features that prevent the system from engaging in sexual conduct when it detects the user is a child.

Pre-filed for introduction in the 2026 session of the 222nd New Jersey Legislature.
