Increases the Supplemental Graduate Medical Education Subsidy by $496,000 in the FY2026 budget, raising the total from $34,000,000 to $34,496,000

Expands eligibility for the subsidy from 14 to 15 acute care hospitals with residency programs that have the highest percentage of revenue from Medicaid patients

The 15th-ranking hospital would receive a fixed $496,000 payment, while the existing 14 hospitals would continue receiving their current subsidy amounts unchanged

Aligns the appropriations act with P.L.2018, c.116, which originally intended the subsidy to cover the top third of acute care hospitals with residency programs—now 15 of 45 hospitals statewide
