Extends civil liability immunity to first aid, ambulance, and rescue squads as organizational entities, not just their individual members, for acts or omissions during good faith service delivery or authorized drills.

Expands the definition of covered squads to include both volunteer and nonvolunteer organizations, as well as non-profit squads that bill or receive reimbursement for services.

Amends existing New Jersey law (P.L.1975, c.196 and P.L.1985, c.351) to close a gap where nonvolunteer squads as entities lacked immunity protections already granted to volunteer squads and individual squad members.

Immunity does not extend to the operation of motor vehicles in connection with emergency services.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
